Comment: As I hadn't found any suitable accommodation in Blanchisseuse, I simply set off in the late afternoon - there would be somewhere to sleep. The beach in Marosell Bay, where I arrived at sunset and where I was the only human beeing, turned out to be a very picturesque place, but I couldn't sleep - a bit too chilly for someone who hadn't brought a sweater or any kind of blanket. Instead I was offered 12 hours (Trinidad is close to the equator!) to watch the stars and in the end a first-class sunrise. (But without dinner and without breakfast.)
